Fusion Technology has been awarded a five-year, $159.8 million contract to assist the FBI’s Information Services Division in implementing Scaled Agile Framework practices and methodologies. This will help develop critical systems within the division.
As part of this deal, Fusion will provide a team of Agile practitioners to work on defining, building and testing various law enforcement platforms. These platforms include a national data exchange, an online law enforcement system, crime data and a law enforcement enterprise portal.
Todd Morris, CEO of Fusion, expressed his excitement at the opportunity to expand the company’s work with CJIS and the West Virginia GovCon community. He noted that Fusion will establish an innovative, fully remote national program consisting of software developers, product owners and scrum masters.
Eli Hammerman, director of growth at Fusion, highlighted the importance of the contract award for the company. He noted that Fusion looks forward to continued growth in the national security sphere. Fusion, a HUBZone small business, specializes in supporting civilian and intelligence clients in Agile software development, cybersecurity, cloud development and biometric integration.
