Despite the unpredictable weather during Easter, there was still heavy traffic on Spain’s roads. This festive period, which is estimated to include at least 16.5 million trips, has seen a slight increase in petrol and diesel prices. Gasoline prices have been rising for 10 weeks in a row and are close to last year’s levels, while diesel prices are slightly lower than last year. At the beginning of the second phase of Operation Exit, a liter of 95 gasoline costs 1.63 euros, which is 1.24 percent more than the previous week, and a liter of diesel costs 1.5 euros, 0.52 percent more. Gasoline prices have risen by 2.32 percent in the last month, while diesel prices have fallen by 1.35 percent.

Drivers who fill their tanks before traveling will pay around €88.88 for petrol and €84.26 for diesel.

Fuel prices can vary depending on the service station with some pumps charging between €1.35 and €1.95 for petrol and between €1
