Helsinki Stock Exchange Embraces Gender Diversity with Ten Women CEOs, but Still Room for Improvement

In recent years, the Helsinki Stock Exchange has seen a significant increase in gender diversity among CEOs of listed companies. According to accountability consultant Kaise Hernberg, there are now ten women CEOs on the board of directors at listed companies, compared to just five Juha CEOs.

Despite this progress, there is still work to be done in terms of gender diversity in leadership positions. While there are now more women than Juha as CEOs of listed companies in Helsinki, the current share of women CEOs is still just over seven percent. This is an improvement from 2015 when there were fewer than five women CEOs on the stock exchange.
