In the consolation game, Chautauqua Christian Academy’s defenders displayed their resilience by coming back from a five-point deficit in the final minute of the game. Marcus Ryan and Sawyer Lynn scored key baskets to force overtime, where the team kept their momentum and secured the victory. Lina’s 19 points, including three 3-pointers, played a key role in the victory.

The Defenders performed well overall, finishing third in Division 5 after losing to the eventual champions in the quarter-finals. Junior Marcus Ryan led the way with an impressive 34-point performance, while Hunter Edwards contributed 10 rebounds and Kaden Peterson excelled on defense throughout the season. Both Ryan and Lynn earned spots on the all-tournament team for their outstanding performances.
