On April 3rd, the Portage County Health District is hosting an Open House and Community Health Fair from 2-6pm at their office in Ravenna. The event aims to showcase the district’s programs and services through a variety of interactive educational events. Over 20 community partners will also be present, offering educational activities at their tables.
Guests can expect food trucks, giveaways and activities for kids and adults. A number of health and community resources will be available, as well as information on financing septic issues. Nonprofit organizations such as United Way, Community Action Council, Family and Community Services and other county agencies will be on hand to share valuable information with guests.
The highlight of the event is a raffle with a Fitbit Inspire as the main prize. This promises to be an interesting and informative event for all who attend. Whether you are looking to improve your health or just learn more about the resources available in your community, this open house is the perfect place to start.
