Hyundai Motor Group has once again been recognized as a leader in the global car market, with the Kia EV9 winning the 2024 World Car of the Year and World Electric Vehicle at the New York International Auto Show. The Hyundai IONIK 5 N was also named the 2024 World Performance Car, highlighting the Group’s continued success in electric vehicles and advanced technology.

The Kia EV9 stood out at this year’s World Car Awards for its innovative design, spacious seven-seat interior and competitive price. Built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) architecture, it is the first Kia model to feature fourth-generation battery technology, enhancing its performance.
