The 71st annual World’s Largest Fish in Henry County, Tennessee returned to Paris on April 20th, with the opening of the Fish Tent on April 24th. This event is a community-wide celebration and West Tennessee’s first festival that draws people from all over.

For the price of a $20 admission, visitors to the Fish Tent can enjoy a plate of catfish, fries, coleslaw, beans, hush puppies and more. The organizer of the event, Josh ‘Smokey’ Taylor, emphasized the importance of this event in bringing people together.

To satisfy the thousands of visitors who flock to the fish tent every year, a significant amount of food is required. Taylor noted that they have 12 thousand pounds of fish, 3 or 4 thousand pounds of fries and handmade puppies galore. This amount of food is enough to serve 320 people every hour.

The World’s Biggest Fry runs until Saturday, April 27
