The Longines FEI World Cup Show Jumping Finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from April 16-20 will feature five American show jumpers and six horses. Despite receiving 10 qualifying spots, only seven athletes were selected to represent the USA.
The top seven ranked American athletes from the North American League were chosen, including Kent Farrington of Wellington, Florida with Gray and Tulane. Jill Humphrey of Sacramento, California will ride Chromatic BF. Devin Ryan of Long Valley, New Jersey is a rider for Eddie Blue. Sophia Siegel from Portola Valley, California will compete with A-Girl. Skylar Wireman of Bonsall, California will ride Tornado.
The full list of definitive entries for the event includes 42 athletes and 35 horses from 19 countries and can be found on the FEI website. The competition will take place from Wednesday to Saturday and include Final I on Wednesday, Final II on Thursday and Final III on Saturday. The event will be broadcast live on FEI TV.
