The Osceola County Overall health Division is celebrating Minority Overall health Month with a totally free neighborhood occasion – VFTV

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — April is Minority Overall health Month.

To celebrate, the Florida Division of Overall health in Osceola County has partnered with the Osceola County Chapter of the NAACP to host a overall health extravaganza on April 1st.

The free community event will offer adult health screenings, food demonstrations, entertainment, children’s activities and more.

“Working with our partners, the health department strives to address the needs of the entire community, including vulnerable minorities.” The goal is to address the unique needs and challenges within our community to ensure positive health outcomes for all,” officials said in a press release.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Chambers Park Community Center, located at 2380 North Smith Street in Kissimmee.

FDOH-Osceola encourages residents to come to the event to receive valuable health information and enjoy a fun family time.
