Western Science Academy in Hemet has recently been recognized as one of the best schools in California and the United States. According to a US News and World Report article, the academy is ranked the 18th best school in California and the 151st best school in the country.

Western Science Academy offers its students an opportunity to participate in Advanced Placement (AP) courses and exams. With an AP class participation rate of 99 percent among 741 students, the academy is dedicated to providing a challenging academic environment for its students. The school serves students in grades 6-12, with many seniors looking to attend some of the nation’s top colleges and universities.

Executive Director Paul Bailey expressed his pride at the school’s recent ranking, saying, “Everyone here at Western Science Academy is incredibly proud of our students and community for helping us achieve this distinction as the 18th best school in California. The academy’s commitment to academic excellence and student success has cemented its reputation as a top-performing school in the region.”
