As a father and husband with five children, I know the importance of spending time together as a family. That’s why I always take advantage of deals like the one happening this weekend at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and the Mexican Cultural Center. On Sunday, April 28, these two organizations are celebrating Día del Niño (Children’s Day) by offering free museum admission to all visitors.

The celebration will include much more than just free general admission. Visitors will also enjoy special performances, music, and activities for the whole family. In addition to the free admission, guests can also take advantage of 50% off the “Orcas: Our Shared Future” temporary exhibit and 50% off admission to the Infinity Theater and Gates Planetarium all day.

The museum noted that there is no need to reserve a ticket in advance online. Visitors can simply walk in anytime between 9am and 5pm to gain access to the wildlife halls or permanent exhibits. If you can’t make it on Sunday, there are other days when you can enjoy free admission at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, including June 4th, June 19th, August 21st, September 10th and 30th, November 2nd and 18th, and December 8th from 5pm-10pm.
