The Defender Kentucky CCI5*-L has announced its entries for this year, with a total of 47 horse and rider combinations set to compete. Among them are four of the top riders in the FEI world rankings: Oliver Townend, Ross Canter, Boyd Martin, and Tom McEwan.

Several pairs have also registered for the Badminton CCI5*-L, which will be held in England from May 8th to 12th. These pairs include Oliver Townend with Cooley Rosalent, Grace Taylor with Game Changer, Meghan O’Donoghue with Palm Crescent, Boyd Martin with Tsetserleg TSF and On Cue, Kirsty Chabert with Classic VI, Ross Canter with Isilot DHI and Jessica Phoenik with Wabbit.

Unfortunately, last year’s winners Tamie Smith and Mai Baum will not be participating in the Defender Kentucky CCI5*-L this year. Instead, they will be competing in the Cosequin Leckington CCI4*-S event. This event is expected to attract many regular five-star competitors.

For a complete list of five-star entries, please see the specific list provided. If you’re interested in seeing the full list of four-star entries as well, that information is also available.
