As the 2023-24 high school sports season gets underway, the focus on GoErie.com and the Erie Times-News is on winter sports. Over the next few weeks, District 10 and regional teams will be announced for girls bowling, followed by boys and girls swimming. Boys and girls wrestling, as well as boys and girls basketball, will also have their all-stars revealed in the coming weeks.
In terms of individual awards, the Metro League All-Star Team and Bowler of the Year have already been named for girls bowling, while outstanding performances from both boys swimming and girls swimming will be highlighted with respective Times-News District 10 teams. Additionally, top regional swimmers/divers of the year will be recognized for both boys and girls swimming.
Wrestling fans can look forward to seeing the top 10 wrestlers from District 10 announced along with regional all-region teams/wrestlers of the year. Finally, basketball enthusiasts will see a reveal of the top 24 players from District 10 along with all-region teams and multi-region players of the year for both boys and girls basketball.
