Stephanie Tierney has been appointed Vice President of Distribution at AMC Theaters, tasked with collaborating with the music industry to create projects and develop customized distribution strategies and marketing campaigns to engage fans. This comes after the successful events such as Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyoncé’s Renaissance: The Movie, which grossed over $261.6 million and $43.9 million respectively.

Prior to this role, Tierney worked at Fandango, leading the integrated marketing team and working with studios, exhibitors, and brand partners to drive consumer awareness and ticket sales. Her experience in affiliate marketing for various brands will be a valuable asset in her new role at AMC Theatres.

AMC’s Chief Content Officer, Elizabeth Frank, expressed her excitement about the future of AMC Theaters Distribution with the leadership of Nicole Denson-Randolph. Denson-Randolph has been promoted to Vice President of Program Promotions and Partnerships for AMC’s distribution venture. Along with Kevin Arnold, she will work on bringing more leading music artists to the big screen through AMC Theaters Distribution.

The success of these ventures disrupted the Hollywood studio system by distributing films like Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyoncé’s Renaissance directly to audiences through theater chains instead of traditional distribution channels. This opened the door for theater operators to take on a new role as distributors, paving the way for an exciting new business venture for AMC.
